A very special dessert. A gluten free Pavlova. I cheated and went to the store to buy the pavlova base. I have made them before but I have to say that it is much easier to buy the base and dress and decorate it yourself. Pavlovas in general are naturally gluten free.

If you are expecting guests who do not eat gluten then this is a quick way to cater for them and to make them feel special. It also helps that it is a dessert that everyone will love.

Remove the wrapping and place the base on the plate that you are going to serve it on. It comes on a stiff cardboard plate, keep it under the pavlova as this dessert is quite delicate.
Pavlova Toppings Ideas
1. 850 g can of fruit salad with all of the juice well drained off.
2. Whipping cream whipped to full thickness
4. One large passionfruit
5. I used half a mango and a few cherries, Kiwi fruit and blueberries also go very well with pavlova
6. Garnish with mint leaves and grated dark chocolate.
Generously coat the top and sides of the pavlova with cream. Use your creative flair and decorate with lovely colorful fruit.
